Smith Mountain Lake is home to several different purveyors of mini-golf. At the popular locale Bridgewater Plaza, you’ll find Harbortown Mini Golf. Harbortown Mini Golf has an eighteen-hole miniature golf course built above the plaza on top of boat docks, exposing visitors to panoramic views of Smith Mountain Lake while they play. The holes are challenging, but fun.
Harbortown Mini Golf has fluctuating seasonal hours, with their most popular season being summer. During the summer, Harbortown Mini Golf is open from 10:30am to 10:30pm on Monday through Thursday and from 10:30am to 11:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $7.50 for children ages four to twelve years and $9.00 for adults. Children under the age of four are free. After you’ve finished playing, you can walk around Bridgewater Plaza and see all of the lovely shops and restaurants that the area has to offer.
Hot Shots Family Entertainment Center is another popular place to play mini-golf. They have a championship miniature golf course that boasts a par 40 design, six ponds, three streams, and an enormous two hundred-ton waterfall. The seventh hole is known for being one of the most difficult on the course.
Mini-golfing prices are $6.00 for children ages four to ten years and $8.00 for adults. Children ages three years and under are free. Season passes for playing unlimited outdoor activities from Memorial Day until Labor Day are $50.00. Another bonus? You can replay the course for half of the price.
