Enjoy the Beautiful Smith Mountain Lake State Park Beach
Smith Mountain Lake State Park beach is one of two public beaches on the lake. The beach is 500-feet in length and guarded swimming is available between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day. When guarded swimming is unavailable, guests may swim in the designated area at their own risk. Swimming fees for ages 13 and up are just $3 on weekdays and $4 on the weekend.

If you’re renting a boat during your Smith Mountain Lake adventure, take advantage of the stunning water and bountiful bass fishing when you launch your boat in the park. Along with a parking fee, there is a small boat launch fee of just $3.
